Because I Am Your Queen: A Feminist Fantasia takes place in a pocket dark matter universe under experimental conditions. Featuring characters such as Queen Elizabeth, Lucretia Borgia, and Gloria Steinem, and a note from the playwright that the show shouldn't take itself too seriously, the design concepts had a certain lighthearted absurdity while still setting location and tone.
